I know, but it still feels so weird and cheap just stunning and wailing on them from behind, especially since they will immediately shake off the stun to block a finisher.

You can also enter Focus mode in close range, and instead of shooting arrows, use your slowed time to try and move around behind them. Explosions and branded orcs are your best bet for dealing with these types. Getting these abilities in combination, along with Combat Master often do make for an nigh-invulnerable orc. Also, ALL shields block frontal wraith stun attacks. There is also an ability that blocks vaulting over people. There is an immunity to wraith stun (from the front). You'd have to use some other tool at your disposal. In fact, I kind of wish there was an immunity to wraith stun so there could be some orcs who just flat out cannot be killed by you in a direct fight. As much as I enjoy feeling like a badass, I also appreciate the occasional baddie who puts me in my loving place. I love the idea of the protagonist begin straight-up outclassed sometimes. Without wraith buddy, you could not beat them in a fight, period. There are orcs who are just better than you.

Not only does it make you feel awesome, but it makes the orcs seem a lot more like real, living things that want to keep on living rather than video game automatons who exist to be defeated. Like, they will pull tactical retreats or sometimes just run screaming for the hills. Orcs actually have a sense of self-preservation. Little things I appreciate about this game:
